PLATELET-RICH FIBRIN

  • WHAT IT IS

Platelet-rich fibrin, or PRF, is prepared from a small sample of your own blood. After processing, the resulting platelet- and fibrin-containing concentrate can be applied topically following microneedling or prepared as PRF EZGEL, an injectable gel used for subtle soft-tissue enhancement.

Because PRF is autologous, it is derived from your own blood rather than a manufactured filler material. Treatment is individualized based on your anatomy, skin quality, goals, and medical history.

  • HOW IT WORKS

    PRF + microneedling

During microneedling, controlled microchannels are created in the skin as part of a treatment designed to support gradual improvement in the appearance of skin texture and overall quality.

PRF may be applied topically during or immediately after microneedling. The fibrin matrix may help retain platelets and signaling proteins at the treatment site; however, the clinical evidence for PRF as a topical microneedling adjunct is still evolving, and outcomes vary.

    PRF EZGEL

PRF EZGEL is prepared from your own blood using a specialized processing method that creates a soft, malleable gel. It may be placed in carefully selected areas to provide subtle support, contour, or volume.

EZGEL is not the same as a hyaluronic acid dermal filler, and it should not be expected to produce the same degree, duration, or predictability of volume enhancement.

  • WHAT TO EXPECT

A small blood sample is collected and processed in the studio. The treatment selected—topical PRF with microneedling, injectable PRF, or PRF EZGEL—will depend on your goals and the areas being treated.

Microneedling may cause temporary redness, warmth, tightness, swelling, tenderness, or pinpoint bleeding. Injectable treatment may cause temporary swelling, bruising, tenderness, or asymmetry. Results are gradual and variable. Some patients may require a series of treatments, and no specific outcome can be guaranteed.
